Offered is a Mickey Mantle autographed baseball, on which the legendary New York Yankees slugger has signed “Mickey Charles Mantle” in bold blue pen across the sweet spot of this Official American League Bobby Brown baseball. Mantle’s signature runs on three panels with “Charles” centered on the sweet spot, with “Mickey” on part of the “CUSHIONED CORK CENTER” stamped panel and “Mantle” on the blue Rawlings logo panel. Mantle played his entire Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees as a centerfield and first baseman from 1951 through 1968. Renowned as one of the best players and sluggers, he is regarded by many as the greatest switch hitter in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY in 1974. This ball has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (81449885) and his signature has been graded NM-MT 8.5+.
