After coming off a great rookie campaign where he averaged 21.2 points per game, the pride of Slovenia Luka Doncic has emerged as one of the premier players in the NBA. Before the NBA season was put on hold in February of 2020, Doncic upped his scoring average to 28.7 points per game, appearing in 54 games for the Dallas Mavericks.
While wearing this offered blue Mavericks’ “Statement Edition” jersey, Doncic scored a game-high 42 points, while adding 11 assists and 9 rebounds during Dallas’ 120-113 victory over the Phoenix Suns on November 29, 2019 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. The win improved the Mavericks to 12-6 on the young season. This jersey has also been photo matched to three additional games – the November 30th 142-94 home win over Golden State where Doncic scored 35 points in 25 minutes, the 143-101 home win over Cleveland on November 22nd with Doncic scoring 30 points and the November 24th game in Houston, where the Mavericks won 137-123 with Doncic scoring 41 points.
This jersey is navy with “MAVERICKS” and “77” sewn on the front in white tackle twill, with the numbers having been decorated with mesh holes. The Nike swoosh is in white on the upper right chest and the Nike tag with NBA AUTHENTICS logo and a “LENGTH+6” flag is sewn on the front left tail. The Nike tag has handwritten in black marker “Away @ Suns on 11/29/19” and an additional “EVERY PLAYER EVERY GAME” tag (DALW 02205) is sewn to the left of the Nike tag. The back has “DONCIC” and “77” sewn on in white, with the number having the mesh holes. The back collar is lined in royal blue with a gold Larry O’Brien trophy patch and “1” in the center and the NBA logo is embroidered above the name. This jersey comes with a LOA from the MeiGray Group (DALW02205), who have authenticated that Doncic wore this jersey during the November 29th game and photo matched this jersey to the additional three aforementioned games.
