At the age of 42, third baseman Graig Nettles joined the Atlanta Braves for the 1987 season. Nettles appeared in 112 games, where he hit 5 home runs and had 33 RBI. The two-time World Series champion used this Louisville Slugger S44 model bat during the 1987 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and black ink transfers present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip.
