Former pitcher Hideo Nomo spent the 1998 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets. Nomo joined the Mets on June 4th when he was traded along with Brad Clontz to New York for Greg McMichael and Dave Mlicki. Nomo pitched to a 4-5 record for the Mets and was a decent hitter at the plate as he had a .267 batting average in 33 plate appearances while driving in three runs. Nomo used this Wilson W-016 model bat during the latter part of the 1998 season when he was a member of the New York Mets. This bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The knob has “NY16” stamped and the surrounding area has been colored in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use.
