Presented in this lot is a “post banishment” Type I photograph of Shoeless Joe Jackson and his Waycross Coastliners baseball taken in 1925 after his banishment from baseball in the early 1920’s. Jackson played a pair of seasons for the Coastliners, and was by all accounts still a fantastic ball player as he approached his 40’s. The career .356 hitter is third from the right in this photograph of the 12 Waycross men, directly in front of Harry McCall. The names of the 12 pictured baseball players are written on the reverse side of this Type I photograph. This item comes with a PSA/DNA Type I LOA.
