The legendary slugger Mark McGwire used this Rawlings MAC25 bat during his historic 1999 season. McGwire led all of baseball with 65 longballs, giving the former Oakland A’s star an incredible 135 total round trippers in back-to-back seasons. McGwire added a National League-high 147 RBI, 118 runs, and a .278 batting average to his stunning campaign. McGwire made his 11th career All-Star team in 1999 and finished in the top five of MVP voting for the third time in his career.

This bat displays outstanding use and is has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and black bat rack streaks present on the barrel. The lower handle has a coating of Mota Stick and a moderate coating of pine tar is on the upper handle/lower barrel area. The knob has the model number “MAC25” stamped and “33 Mcgwire” is handwritten in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16810) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
