Shohei Ohtani entered the Major Leagues as the 21st century version of Babe Ruth, putting up numbers that garnered him American League Rookie of the Year honors. An overpowering pitcher, great hitter, and incendiary base runner, Ohtani’s American debut made the 2018 season something special. Ohtani finished 2018 with a .285 batting average, 22 homers and 61 RBI in only 326 at bats while his pitching line was 4-2 with a 3.31 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 51.2 innings.

Ohtani has picked up in 2019 right where he left off in 2018 as he continues produce solid power numbers while maintaining a good batting average. Ohtani used this ASICS OS17 model bat during the 2019 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The handle has a black Lizard Skins tape to enhance the grip. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and prominent white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The bat has a cupped end and “OS17”, “CA-S” and “061019” have been stamped on the knob. Adding to this already outstanding game is the silver marker signature of Ohtani on the barrel. Ohtani also inscribed “17” and “ROY 18”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19219) for the game use, who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10. Additionally, there is a LOA from Beckett Authentication (A58493) for Ohtani’s signature.
