Offered in this lot is a rare unreleased pair of Adidas “Kobe III Slide” sandals manufactured in January of 2002. The slides, in the colors of Bryant’s alma mater of Lower Merion High School, were likely shelved due to Bryant’s move away from Adidas at the end of the 2001-02 season. These slides are burgundy and white, with an Adidas logo bearing a portrait of Bryant affixed to both shoes. Adidas logos are present on the soles of the burgundy and bone slides. An Adidas manufacturers tag stating a manufacture date of January 24th, 2002, is present on the slides.
