In 1995, rookie Chipper Jones led the Atlanta Braves to their first World Series title since the days of Hank Aaron and the Milwaukee Braves, defeating the Cleveland Indians in a six game Fall Classic. Made especially for the Fall Classic, Hall of Famer Chipper Jones’s 1995 Louisville Slugger R161 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding game use. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel, which also has the special “1995 WORLD SERIES” stamping. The knob has Jones’ number “10” in silver marker and Chipper has signed the barrel in silver marker, inscribing “10” in the middle of the “J” in his last name. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15526) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (D51262) for the signature.
