Renowned sports artist Robert Stephen Simon captured Mickey Mantle in his classic right handed pose in this beautifully crafted 32 x 38-inch gold-framed canvas painting mounted in a framed display. Also featured in this artwork is Simon’s rendering of Mantle on the 1963 Topps Card. A ¾ x 3-inch gold plate with the engraving “Mickey By Robert Stephen Simon” is mounted on the center of the base of the frame. Mantle also signed his name boldly in a magenta colored marker across his batting pose and the artist’s name is painted on the upper right of the canvas and dated 1989. This exquisite artwork comes with a full LOA from JSA.
