Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Overwhelming purity of color and sharpness of image distinguish this memorable "Iron Horse" collectible. Number 92 of Lou Gehrig is one of the most widely coveted cards in the revered 1933 Goudey issue, and the attributes that make it so are realized nicely in this very clean specimen. Mellow blue and a textured batter's box act as background tones for the form and shadow of the great player. Even Gehrig's gentle smile is easily discernible in the carefully crafted and well-preserved illustration, and his impossibly fine Yankee pinstripes are bold and fully resolved. The card's green-and-white cardback displays bright, precise inking of each character. Excellent to Mint condition, with praiseworthy visual appeal.
