Offered in this lot is a number “8” Los Angeles Lakers home jersey signed by the late superstar Kobe Bryant. Bryant averaged 25.0 points per game throughout his 20-season NBA career, making 18 All-Star rosters and winning a total of five NBA titles after being selected with the 13th pick of the 1996 NBA Draft fresh out of suburban Philadelphia’s Lower Merion High School. The Hall of Famer tragically passed away in January of 2020, leaving a gap in the NBA world that can never be filled. This offered Los Angeles Lakers home jersey features Bryant’s number “8” sewn on the back in white and purple tackle twill. “BRYANT” is sewn across the back shoulders in purple and white tackle twill. Bryant has signed the “8” digit in black marker. The jersey comes in a 29 x 42-inch framed display and is accompanied by an Upper Deck hologram (BAG95321). Please note that UDA number BAG95321 does not appear on UDA's website, however Goldin Auctions has received email confirmation from UDA that Kobe signed this jersey on January 23, 2001.
