The Hall of Fame third baseman had his finest season in 1964, his .318 average, 28 homers and league leading 118 RBI earning him the AL MVP Award. Robinson touts this career-high season with his inscription on this 1960 game used bat. The Hillerich & Bradsby O1S shows excellent use and its cracked handle has been repaired with small nails. Ball marks with stitch imprints can be seen on the barrel along with several scoring marks. The knob end has the factory model O1S stamping and “LITTLE” has been hand-written in marker. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B05758 has been affixed to the barrel end. Brooks has signed the barrel in blue marker “Brooks Robinson 1964 AL MVP Gamer” between the H&B brand and his endorsement. MLB hologram sticker number MT 00481015 certifies the autograph and is affixed to the barrel. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 8.
