His 16-year career spent with Oakland and St. Louis included the 1987 AL Rookie of the Year Award, 12 All-Star game appearances, four-time league leader in HRs, and 583 total HRs. McGwire boldly signed in black Sharpie this Rawlings/Adirondack Big Stick in the sweet spot. Upper Deck Authenticated has certified the signature with a COA (#BAJ07166). The knob is engraved with “MAC25” and “452 98.” The barrel bears “Big Stick,” “MARK MCGWIRE,” and “CARDINALS.” The label is an engraved “R” with a red stripe encircling the bat just below the label. The bat is white ash.
