Winning their fourth World Series title over the last five seasons, the Yankees had to overcome the cross-town rival New York Mets in a tough series. Highlighted by the Roger Clemens rage incident when he threw the broken bat barrel at Mike Piazza, the Yankees came back in Game One and eventually outlasted their neighbors. This off-white 2000 OWS Selig ball contains 28 blue ink signatures ("8-10" a few lesser), but has a few creamy colored areas. Includes: Joe Torre (sweet spot), Mel Stottlemyre, Luis Polonia, Doc Gooden, Chris Turner, David Cone, Willie Randolph, Andy Pettitte, Billy Connors, Tony Cloninger, Jeff Nelson, Tino Martinez, David Justice, Derek Jeter ("6"), Jason Grimsley, Mariano Rivera, Paul O'Neill, Don Zimmer, Jose Vizcaino, Clay Bellinger, Randy Choate, Mike Stanton, Roger Clemens, Chuck Knoblauch, Denny Neagle and a couple others. Comes with a Steiner hologram, and has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
