Bill Terry was the last National League player to hit over .400, clubbing 254 hits in 1930 to finish with a .401 batting average. After he finished playing, Terry managed his New York Giants to three NL Pennants and one World Series Championship in 1933 as player/manager. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1954. This white ONL Giamatti baseball has been signed “WH (Bill) Terry HOF 1930 401” in blue ink on the sweet spot, grading a (“10”). COA from PSA/DNA, cert number P76004.
