Hammerin’ Hank Aaron was one of the greatest hitters in MLB history. He was selected for the All-Star Game 20 straight years from 1955-75 and was a three-time Gold Glove winner. In 1957, Aaron won a World Series with Milwaukee and was the league’s MVP.
Go back in time with this extraordinary piece, an authentic Hank Aaron signed wooden seat bottom that looks to be an exact match from Atlanta’s Fulton County Stadium. Aaron’s signature appears boldly in silver ink in the middle of the worn, green seat. The piece has a certain charm with its rusted hinges and scuffed wood with weathered edges. Fulton County Stadium opened in April 1965 and was demolished in 1997. There’s no question Aaron gave fans sitting in this very seat plenty of memories. The two metal plates supporting the seat each have engravings, one reading “19 L” and the other reading “19 R.” The item comes with MLB authentication number MT00356548.
