After joining the Phillies in 2003, slugger Jim Thome commenced to knock the cover off the ball. He hit 47 round-trippers his first season in Philly to take the NL home run crown, and followed that up with 42 including the 400th of his career in 2004. Thome has signed the crown to the left of the Phillies "P" in silver marker adding his number "25". "25" is printed on the back of the helmet along with the MLB logo. PSA/DNA sticker number U77450 is affixed to the back of the outside of the helmet.
