Offered are two game used items from slugger Don Baylor, winner of the 1979 American League MVP award. Includes: 1) HELMET - a game used single-flap 7-3/8 helmet, with "BAYLOR" printed on black dyno tape on the brim, signed in silver sharpie on the outer shell "Don Baylor 1979 AL MVP". The helmet exhibits extensive use with a small crack near the ear flap, and missing portions of the inner support head band and missing ear flap padding. 2) CAP - A game used New Era Pro Model cap with Baylor's number "25" written under the brim in black marker. Extensive wear with multiple areas of staining and a dozen or so holes in the blue wool. Size is unknown as the tag is well worn. Great pair of game used items from the former 1979 American League MVP, and World Series winner in 1987. COA form PSA/DNA, cert number U77398 for the signature.
