The four young pitchers that were about to lead the 1969 New York Mets to their 1st World Series victory in club history posed for this picture while working out at Shea Stadium waiting for the Fall Classic to begin. When the Series got under way, Jerry Koosman would win games 2 & 5, Gary Gentry and Nolan Ryan would combine to shutout the Orioles in game 3 and Tom Seaver would win game 4. All 4 players have signed this 11x14 photo with Seaver & Gentry adding the inscription “69 WS Champs”. The picture has been framed and matted to a finished size of 18 ½ X 22 ½ and comes with a full PSA/DNA letter #T05512.
