Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson, aka Mr. October, may have played in 14 All-Star games, won five World Series Championships, and won the AL MVP in 1973, but he may be best known for his performance in the Game 6 of the 1977 World Series against the Dodgers where he hit three home runs off of three different Dodger pitchers all coming on the first pitch. This seatback from the old Yankee Stadium features a memorial plate that reads, “Yankee Stadium April 18th 1923 – September 21st 2008. Authentic Seatback from Yankee Stadium (1923-2008). This #6 seat is blue on the front and back, while the front side is sun-baked and faded with scratches; Jackson’s signature on the middle panel on the front in blue Sharpie is quite noticeable and very neat and legible.
