Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez was named to his first All-Star team in 2013 after enjoying the finest season of his 6-year career with the Brewers in 2012. Gomez made his big league debut with the New York Mets in 2007 and was traded to the Twins with three others for Johan Santana in 2008. This size 50 MLB Authentic #LH 738146 clean, bright-white, #22-pinstriped Minnesota Twins home jersey was worn by Gomez during the Twins 2009 AL Central Division winning season, but more importantly, during Game #163 against the Detroit Tigers. After 162 games, the Twins and Tigers were tied for the AL Central lead, and had to play an extra game to break the tie. Gomez was instrumental in the Twins 6-5 extra-inning victory, as he led of the bottom of the 12th with a single, advanced to second on a ground out and scored the winning run. This was also the last run ever scored at the MetroDome, as the new Target Center opened the following season. This jersey has his name "GOMEZ" across the back stitched onto a white nameplate, has a Minnesota Twins logo patch on its left sleeve and HHH Metrodome 1982-2009, and “Carl [Pohlad]” commemorative patches on the right sleeve. This is a tremendous Game used jersey worn during the Twins Division clinching game, an exciting extra-inning affair, also being the last run scored in the friendly Twins "Homerdome".
