Produced in 1929, the Kashin set is extremely popular with collectors due to the exceptional Charles Conlon photography, and the large number of quality player represented. No less than 32 Hall of Famers is included in R316, with one of the keys being the Lou Gehrig card, which portrays The Iron Horse in a superb batting pose. This example has exceptional eye appeal for a card which grades SGC 40 VG+ 3.5, with minimal corner wear, a crisp, clean image and problem free surfaces, front and back. This card is one of the keys to the R316 set, representing a card of Lou Gehrig during the prime of his career.
