Every baseball fan knows the significance of the numbers 714 and 755, but how about 1469? That is the combined total of Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron’s career home runs. Each ballplayer was their era’s most powerful hitter, for while others blazed bright for short periods, both Ruth and Aaron enjoyed extended careers that saw them steadily raising the bar for career home runs. No baseball autograph collection is complete without a pair of balls signed by these two legends – but what is more elusive, and indeed almost impossible to find, is a ball which collects the signatures of both these giants.

Ruth passed away in 1948 when Aaron was just entering high school, and a career in baseball was just a distant dream. Yet someone had the brilliant idea to take an existing Ruth single-signed ball and then have it signed by the man who would break his hallowed record. Presented is a truly unique dual-signed baseball by Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron. This toned Official American League Ban Johnson stamped baseball has Ruth’s signature across the sweet spot in black ink. Aaron’s signature is also penned in black and is located on the side panel to the left of the American League Ban Johnson stamp. Both signatures present beautifully on this red and blue-stitched ball and the stitching is still intact. This comes with a LOA from JSA.
