Offered is a nice example of a W515-1 five card panel featuring Rogers Hornsby, considered by many the greatest right handed hitter in baseball history. The W515-1 is a 60 card set, issued in panels, which were then cut down by eager little hands. This panel features cards 51 Ray Schalk, 52 “Heinie” Groh, 53 Wilbert Robinson, 54 George Burns, 54 Rogers Hornsby. This panel includes three Hall of Famers in Schalk, Robinson and Hornsby. This panel has issues of paper loss and a tear in the Schalk card on the far left, but the balance of the panel is excellent. The images are focused and the reverse has a small area of tape residue.
