Earnhardt is one of the great racing family names in all of NASCAR. This 2002 32 x 20 ½ inch “… The Shadow of Greatness” Sam Bass proof features Dale Earnhardt Jr. in red with the shadow of his late father in black in the background. It is a must for any Earnhardt fan. Below Earnhardt is his No.8 red Budweiser Chevy, with the shadow of his father’s No. 3 black GM Goodwrench Chevy mirroring the racecar. The title of the piece appears at the bottom of the work with Bass’ signature in the bottom-right corner. There is a checkered flag next to Bass’s signature with Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 8 and Earnhardt’s No. 3 mirroring it. The proof is housed in a 39 x 27 ½ silver frame and comes with authentication from Sam Bass Gallery.
