The 2019 Kansas City Chiefs started out the season with a disappointing 1-3 record at home, but their 4-0 start on the road was enough to keep them atop the AFC West and their 7-1 second-half record made them 12-4 overall which was good enough for the AFC West title and No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs. Led by 2018 MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs would dispatch the Houston Texans 51-31 in the Divisional Round, despite falling behind 24-0 in the second quarter, then defeated the Tennessee Titans 35-24 in the AFC Championship Game and then capped off their title run by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 – scoring 21 4th quarter points to erase a 20-10 deficit. This was Kansas City’s second Super Bowl title and first in 50 years since winning Super Bowl IV. To celebrate, the Chiefs franchise went all-out for their championship rings and presented here is one of those player rings.

Manufactured by Jostens, this exquisite 10 karat gold ring was presented to running back Mike Weber, who was signed to the Chiefs’ practice squad in January of 2020 after being released by the Dallas Cowboys. This ring features a top that pays tribute to the legacy to the “Chiefs Kingdom” with 60 diamonds set inside a stunning arrowhead-shaped adornment. Intricately placed within the yellow gold interlocking “KC” logo are 16 custom-cut rubies representing the franchise’s 10 AFC West division titles combined with six playoff appearances under Head Coach Andy Reid. A “69” banner is on the left of the “4” and a “19” banner is on the right of the “5” signifying the franchise’s two Super Bowl titles, with a “BE GREAT” banner below both numbers (the team’s 2019 motto). Beneath the banner is a football with “142.2”, which is the decibel rating for Arrowhead Stadium – the loudest in the world.

On the inside of the ring is the “JOSTENS©10K” mark, along with “0202” vertically, the Houston Texans logo with “51-31” above and “[24]” below, the Tennessee Titans logo with “35-24” above and “[10]” below, the San Francisco 49ers logo with “31-20” above and “[10]” below and “2020” vertically on the right.
