Offered is a game used glove from one of the greatest pitchers of all time. With 268 wins, and eight 20 win seasons, Palmer has solidified his stature with the game’s history. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1990 with an astounding 93% of the vote. This Mizuno GIC-5 model glove is orange-toned with “Jim Palmer” stitched on blue on the outer thumb. The inside of this multi-hinged design glove features a “Press Formed” pocket with nice wear, and commensurate wear in the palm, on the heel and the outer fingers. The “MIZUNO” name on the fleece lined wrist strap. On the outer thumb is a bold, blue Sharpie “Jim Palmer” signature. While Palmer was predominately a Wilson glove user, this was a time when Mizuno was making strides into the Major League market, manufacturing gloves for many of the games superstars.
