Phil Simms was the 7th overall pick in the 1979 NFL draft and went on to play 15 seasons for the Giants and the highlight of his career came in Super Bowl XXI. Against the Denver Broncos, Simms won MVP honors as he completed 22 of 25 passes (good for an 88 completion percentage, which remains a Super Bowl record) for 268 yards and three TDs as New York won 39-20. This Giants replica jersey is mesh with stitched numbers that are white and outlined in red and lettering that’s white with red and white trim on the sleeves and collar. The jersey is in excellent condition as it shows no signs of damage, while the signature in black Sharpie is bold and very legible on the first “1” on the rear, along with the inscription: “#11 S.B.
