To enhance the NBA's 50th Anniversary celebrations in 1996, an awe-inspiring, limited-edition lithograph was unveiled during that season's All-Star Game festivities. The majestic 25" x 39" piece bore the title, “National Basketball Association 50 Greatest Players 1946-1996,” and displayed the likenesses of all 50 NBA legends. Many players commented at the time that their inclusion on the print's elite roster was one of their greatest basketball honors. After all, membership in the NBA's "50 Greatest Players" club is far more exclusive than the Basketball Hall of Fame!
Presented here is high-quality, unsigned rendering of that prized litho creation's design. The evocative print (serial-numbered "124/500") is surrounded in a painstakingly gathered and carefully constructed assembly by individual trading cards, one representing each member. Each of these fifty cards has been single-signed in ink by its esteemed subject.
