Americans love a come-back and in 2008 Josh Hamilton provided it. The former drug addict who had been all but washed up a few years before garnered the most votes of any AL outfielder for the All-Star Game and finished the season with a .304 average, led the AL with 130 RBI and left behind several long-distance homers fans still talk about with awe. Hamilton's CTG model 353 Maple 35 bat shows heavy use. Many ball and stitch imprints can be seen as well as white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat imprints can be seen and an impression from a batting donut. A moderate coat of pine tar coats the handle. The length "35" is stamped into the knob. Hamilton's number "32" is written on the knob end in black marker. Hamilton has signed the barrel in silver marker adding his number "32" and "Game Used 08". Letter of Authentication from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
