Presented here is a 2001-02 Michael Jordan game worn Washington Wizards sleeveless warm-up jersey from his return season to the NBA after retiring from the Bulls in 1999 that comes directly from the personal collection of George Koehler, who is a long-time associate of Michael Jordan dating back to when Jordan joined the Bulls in 1984, having originally been his limousine driver, then his personal assistant and friend. Koehler was also part in the popular ESPN documentary The Last Dance. This teal and black sleeveless jersey was made by Nike and is a size 2XL. The front is blue with black sides and black shoulders separated by a bronze border stripe and has the Wizards “dc” logo printed in sky blue, with the NBA logo and white Nike swoosh on the upper right chest and “WIZARDS” embroidered in white on the upper left chest. The Nike size 2XL tag, along with a Wizards logo tag and an NBA AUTHENTICS tags are sewn on the front left tail. Jordan’s number “23” is handwritten in black marker on the Nike tag. The back of this jersey is all-black with no name or number and has the 9/11 flag and ribbon patch sewn on the upper back. This sleeveless warm-up jersey comes with a LOA from George Koehler, who states in his LOA that this item came directly from his personal collection and was received directly from Michael Jordan.
