Played at Anaheim Stadium in southern California, the 1989 Major League All-Star Game saw the American League defeat the National League 5-3. The game was highlighted by the back-to-back home runs by Bo Jackson of Kansas City and Hall of Famer Wade Boggs of the Red Sox to jumpstart the AL offense. Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. was selected to his seventh straight All-Star Game and was the starting shortstop for the AL. Ripken went 1-for-3 with a double off Expos pitcher Tim Burke in the bottom of the fifth inning.

This jersey was made by Rawlings and is a size 46. “Orioles” and a paraph, along with Ripken’s number “8” is sewn on the front in orange and black tackle twill.
