Hall of Fame and baseball’s Iron Man Cal Ripken, Jr. wore this road Baltimore Orioles “Turn Back The Clock” jersey during the 1995 season. This jersey was made by Mitchell & Ness and was modeled after the 1961 Orioles jersey. This gray jersey has a zipper-down front with “Baltimore” a paraph and Ripken’s number “8” sewn on in orange and black tackle twill. Black piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the zipper. The Cooperstown Collection Mitchell & Ness tag, along with a “1961” tag are sewn on the front left tail. The back has Ripken’s number “8” sewn on in orange and black tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Orioles cartoon bird logo patch sewn on in white, orange and black. An additional Mitchell & Ness tag with a size 48 flag is sewn on the inside back collar. “95” is handwritten in blue marker on the size 48 tag. This jersey displays light game use and comes directly from the personal collection of Cal Ripken, Jr. with a signed LOA from Cal that will accompany this item.
