Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. made Baltimore Orioles history when he connected on his 334th career home run during the May 29, 1996 game against the Seattle Mariners at the Kingdome. Ripken’s home run came in the top of the 7th inning against Mariner’s pitcher Sterling Hitchcock and with that round tripper, he became the Baltimore Orioles’ all-time home run leader – a list that includes Hall of Famers Eddie Murray and Brooks Robinson, along with Boog Powel and Rafael Palmeiro.
