In his first Olympic Games, Kobe Bryant, as expected, simply dominated the international basketball competition. In the Gold Medal game, the NBA superstar scored 20 points, with 17 coming in the final quarter to help defeat a Spanish team loaded with NBA talent for the gold medal. This is the identity and accreditation card worn by Kobe during the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and would have been used to gain access to the team's housing, meal areas and the games themselves. The 4 ½ x 7-inch laminated official athletes badge features a color ID photo of Bryant in uniform along with bar code (0220296-03) and credential information. The badge has been connected by two chrome rings to a red 2008 Beijing Olympic Games lanyard.
