This Rick Rush lithograph of one of his famous sports paintings captures 1998 Finals Series MVP Jordan launching the game- and series-winning 20-foot jump shot over Byron Russell of the Utah Jazz with 5.2 seconds left in Game 6. The basket gave the Bulls an 87 – 86 victory, the team’s third consecutive NBA Championship and sixth in eight seasons. Rush titled the 20” x 28” image “Unbelievable!” This item is No. 55 of 500 and signed by Rush in the lower right corner. In the upper left corner, where Jordan is aiming the ball, Rush has written “The color study for the original painting and serigraph edition of the “Unbelievable” game-winning final shot of Michael Jordan. NBA Finals – June 20th, 1998/Bulls vs. Jazz, Game 6, 87 – 86/Delta Center, Salt Lake City/Bulls Sixth World Championship.” Matted and framed to a dimension of 32 x 40 inches.
