These bakery cards were issued in Buffalo and come with several different styles of advertising on the reverse. This sample features the "General Baking Company" ad on the back. Included in this lot of two D304 cards are Mike Kelly and Charles Herzog (No Team Variation). Each of these very scarce cards have been graded by SGC at 30 GOOD 2, with equally rounded corners, light corner wrinkles and light staining. The cards both have nice color and present very well. There have been four Kelly examples graded by SGC with the highest graded example being a SGC 50 VG/EX, with this the second highest graded example. Meanwhile, this Herzog card is the highest graded example from SGC of the three known specimens. This is a great lot of two scarce cards from one of the more popular non-tobacco issues of the dead ball era.
