Graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS. Hall of Famer, in a Rookie Card depiction that circulated several years before his appearances in the far more plentiful Topps card issues. This collectible introduced André Roussimoff – André the Giant – the larger-than-life athlete whose charisma helped to propel the rise of professional wrestling in the 1980s. (Few can forget "The Main Event" episode in which an undefeated, 500-pound giant named André was lifted and slammed to the canvas by an injured Hulk Hogan, an incredible feat that allowed Hogan to retain his title.) The card's BGS condition report: Centering: 9.5, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9.5, Surface: 9. Gem Mint condition.
