This lengthy, double-sided street lamp banner sign was issued by the mayor’s office of the City of Chicago to celebrate the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls NBA-record, 72-win season. This banner hung on the street lamps overlooking the city. The first in a string of three straight NBA championships (and second such streak in eight years) for the Chicago Bulls is celebrated in this 96” x 30” banner signed by Hall of Fame forward Scottie Pippen in big, bold black Sharpie on the top right corner of one side. “The City of Chicago Congratulates” is printed across the top in white on red above “Chicago” in black with an elongated number 72 containing the word “Wins” and a blown-out cartoon Bulls logo head in white with the words “Bulls” written in Black below and “Richard M. Daley, Mayor” authorization at the very bottom. Ready to be re-hung with looped ends for dowel inserts and aluminum circle wall-hanging rivets and contains two semi-circle cut out wind flaps. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
