As one of the premiere sluggers of his day, Manny Ramirez piled up impressive numbers from the first time he stepped in to a major league batter’s box. This bat was used by Ramirez for quite a few games, indicative of the tremendous use exhibited. This 34 inch, 33.7 oz. maple SAM bat has "MANNY RAMIREZ" in block letters on the barrel with the model number "CG1" above. The team name "BOSTON RED SOX" is also in block letters on the sweet spot. Ramirez' number "24" is written in black sharpie on both ends, with the cup having additional pencil marks including length (34), weight (32), year (052307), model (CG1) and Mfg. (7472). Even though the bat has 32 ounces written on the cap, the actual weight is a shade under 34 ounces. The bat displays outstanding use with heavy pine tar, numerous ball, cleat and stitch impressions plus a slight crack in the handle. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number H53676, Graded PSA GU 9.5.
