The 1996 New York Yankees shocked baseball when they came back from a 2-0 deficit, swept the next four games from the Atlanta Braves and won their first World Series title in 12 seasons. This 34 inch Louisville Slugger bat has "1996 WORLD CHAMPIONS NEW YORK YANKEES 36 OF 196" deeply burned into the barrel. The bat has been signed boldly in blue Sharpie by 28 members of that historic team. While most of the signatures are in the regular Sharpie, there are a few names signed with a thin tip Sharpie. Includes: Derek Jeter, Brian Boehringer, Cecil Fielder, Ramiro Mendoza, Graeme Lloyd, Don Zimmer, David Weathers, Tim Raines, Joe Girardi, David Cone, Jimmy Key, Jose Cardenal, Wade Boggs, Jim Leyritz, Mel Stottlemyre, Doc Gooden, Charlie Hayes, Bernie Williams, Mariano Duncan, Darryl Strawberry, Tino Martinez, Luis Sojo, Mariano Rivera, Paul O'Neill, Joe Torre, John Wetteland (WS MVP '96), Jorge Posada and one other.
