A sure-fire first ballot Hall of Fame candidate, "Junior" finished his amazing career with 630 home runs.  Based upon factory order records, the labeling period and player use characteristics, this un-cracked bat was used by Griffey during his 1992 season. This 33.75 inch, 33 ounce Louisville Slugger G157 signature model bat has "Ken Griffey, Jr." scripted on the barrel with the model number "G157" above and "SEATTLE MARINERS" name below. Griffey's number "24" is written in white on the knob, and a 9 inch crisscross tape pattern exists on the handle. This bat shows tremendous evidence of game use with the barrel covered in ball and stitch marks, including blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks are also visible on the right barrel. Factory records indicate only SIX G157 model bats were made for Griffey in 1992, making this an extremely rare and desirable bat from one of the greatest two-way players of his generation. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number D63051, Graded PSA GU 10. This is perhaps one of the best Griffey, Jr. game used bats extant.
