Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez burst on the scene as a 19 year old, and is one of the handful of baseball catchers who provided top tier defense with an exceptional ability to hit. Based upon factory ordering records, proper labeling and player use characteristics, this bat was used by Ivan Rodriguez during the 2010 season, his first season with the Washington Nationals. This 34 inch, 31.6 ounce Louisville Slugger P72 signature model bat shows evidence of outstanding game use. Many ball marks, stitch cleat impressions, including ink transfers and white leather scuffs cover the barrel, and a heavy coating of MOTA stick exists on the 4.25 inch taped handle. Stamped on the knob is the date of manufacture (2/2/2010), length (34) and weight (32oz), with Pudge's number "7" written on the knob and the cupped top. The sweet spot contains a bold, silver sharpie "Ivan Rodriguez #7 GU 2010" signature and inscription. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number 1B07235, graded PSA GU 9.5; and full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number for the signature. This is a wonderful end of career Rodriguez gamer which contains all his usual characteristics.
