Lot of (3) signed college footballs with white panels, including a Baden model that features the Kansas University Jayhawk logo and football helmets on each side of the logo. This ball is signed and inscribed by Gale Sayers and reads “1961-1965 Gale Sayers Kansas Comet” and has a hand-written limited edition “LE 1/40”. The next white-paneled ball has the “Legends of West Point” and features the signatures and years of Felix “Doc” Blanchard (1945), Howard “Hopalong” Cassidy (1955), Pete Dawkins (1958) and Glenn Davis (1946). The ball is a special edition 2 of 5000, with the “2” hand-written. The last ball is a Wilson NFL ball with the Paul Tagliabue stamp. The three white panels have multiple Heisman Trophy winners and they include: Larry Kelley (1936), Angelo Bertelli (1943), Glenn Davis (1946), Doak Walker (1948), Johnny Lattner (1953), Joe Bellino (1960), Steve Owens (1969), Jim Plunkett (1970), Johnny Rodgers (1972), Archie Griffin (1974/1975), Earl Campbell (1977), Charles White (1979) and Danny Wuerffel (1996). This lot has been Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
