Though he had an 8-8 record in 2009, Kershaw held opposing batters to just a .200 average, the best in the NL that year. The 21 year-old ace also had a 13 strike out game against the Giants, the youngest Dodger to do so since Sandy Koufax did it in 1955. Kershaw’s Louisville Slugger M253 shows heavy use and is uncracked. Slight checking from heavy ball contact can be seen on the barrel and Kershaw’s number “22” is on the knob end. “Clayton Kershaw” and “Los Angeles Dodgers” is imprinted in block letters on the barrel. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 9.5.
