As one-third of what may have been the greatest pitching rotation of all-time, Tom Glavine cruised through 1995 with a 16-7 record, helping the Braves to the World Series. Facing the Cleveland Indians, Glavine won Game 2 and came back to take the 6th and deciding game, earning himself the Series MVP Award. This Wilson glove is the very one the Atlanta ace wore during the long summer of '95 and on into the World Series. The Wilson 1670/12.5" pitcher's glove exhibits outstanding game use as would be expected. The pocket, finger tips and webbing all show good game use and perspiration stains are visible on top of the index finger, the fleece-lines strap and inside palm. PSA/DNA stickers (1G00088 and U77457) are affixed to the interior palm and thumb respectively. "TOM GLAVINE" is embroidered in yellow along the thumb and the Series MVP himself has signed the glove not once but twice: in black marker along the outside of the index and middle fingers he signed and added "My 1995 Regular Season World Series Used Glove" and inside middle and ring fingers he signed again, this time in silver ink and added "95 R.S. & W.S. GAME USED". And if the double notated remarks from Glavine himself isn't enough, this glove is accompanied by a photograph of Glavine pitching, this glove clearly visible and a letter of provenance from Tom Glavine's brother-in-law to whom the glove was gifted. The winning bidder will receive the non-redacted original LOA with full information of provenance. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
