As one of the more consistent pitchers in recent baseball history, Ferguson Jenkins won 20 games in seven seasons, the second being in 1968 when he went 20-15. Offered is a game used baseball from his 20th win that year. This Spalding off-white, ONL Warren Giles baseball has "Sun. Sept. 29 1968 Pittsburg - 3 Chicago - 4" written on the sweet spot. Just below on the south panel is "BLASS VS JENKINS" and on the north panel is "Win No. 20." Further up on the north panel is a bold, blue ink "Fergie Jenkins HOF 91" signature and inscription. This ball is a valuable part of a Hall of Famers career, and also that of the Chicago Cubs fan. The actual baseball is in tremendous condition, with bold stampings and a few minor stains, none which affect the signature of any of the inscriptions. Basic COA from PSA/DNA, cert number U77448 for the signature.
