Christy Walsh was not only the "super-agent" to Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, but he was also a college football fan. He was editor of the "Intercollegiate Football" publication, "a complete pictorial and statistical review from 1889 to 1934". This bound volume includes a inscribed note and signature opposite the title page, reading "For my good friend Bill Corum cordially Christy Walsh (also from Missouri)." Corum was a well known sports writer from New York, who covered the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants, and obviously developed a relationship with Walsh over those years. Book is in very good condition overall, while the signature in a gem.
