Ken Coleman was the beloved broadcaster of the Boston Red Sox for many years, originally taking over for Curt Gowdy in 1965. He broadcasted the 1967 World Series between the Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals, won in seven games by the Birds. For being part for that historic team, Coleman was presented with this ring, and he was eventually elected to the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2000. This Balfour 10K gold ring has the Boston “B” on top with two diamonds inside, surrounded by “BOSTON RED SOX AL CHAMPIONS” on the perimeter. The one shank has the name “COLEMAN” with the Red Sox cap with a ball/glove/crossed bat motif. The other shank contains the year “1967” with the Red Sox insignia. This size 10.5 ring weighs 26 grams, and has “BALFOUR 10K” engraved within the band. Excellent condition.
